Wow, It’s been forever since I’ve updated last. Wonder if I’ve just grown out of this whole thing? I rarely keep up with anyone on IM anymore and haven’t posted a thing in months.

Since I’ve been gone, I’ve been amazingly busy. Pach started playing ball at clarion, so I’ve been trying to get to a lot of those games, but she just found out this week that she has a stress-fracture on her foot, which will keep her out for the remainder of the regular season, and into the playoff’s (if they can make it that far). She’s doing amazingly well (or was till she got the news about her foot). Getting stronger every game.

My parents have started in on their house, so I’ve been trying to help them out with that as much as I have been able. Work is good but ever-increasingly stressful. I bit off more than I can chew, out of boredom, a while back. And because of that trend, people have started to depend on me for things that aren’t really part of my job. Which was fine a year or so ago when I had some wiggle room with my responsibilities, but now I want to start expanding my marketing / public relations role here, and I’m being held back by the other responsibilities. It is an ever-narrowing tightrope walk, and there are day’s I fear I’m am becoming unbalanced.

Additionally, I’ve been spending a great deal of time with lisa, working out our wedding plans. I know we made huge strides way back 8 months ago, when we got engaged, and we keep working on it. But both of us are nit-picky about details, so we make huge strides then we back off for a bit just to catch our breath. That’s been the worst part about this whole long-distance thing. If everything goes right, we really only get to see each other 100 day’s of the year, only meeting on weekends, etc. and when we get together, we just want to enjoy each other’s company; Wedding plans, unless we force them to the forefront, easily get put a the bottom of our priority list.

And with all of that stuff going on, I’ve realized recently, what a lousy friend I’ve been these past few months. I started thinking about how long it’s been since I talked to people… I don’t think I’ve talked to clay since before thanksgiving. I did just see trav this past weekend, but same goes with him, I haven’t talked to him since then either. Granted we were all pretty busy over the holiday’s. Hopefully we all can get together before the wedding. I used to say things like that jokingly, knowing we’d all get together in a week or two, but anymore I don’t know. Everyone seems to be just running’ around.

Oh, and my brother moved home and started working at Blair, and he’s getting married soon too. I should try and hang out with him a little more too.

This weekend Lisa’s coming in early and staying late. We’re going to try and get the one bedroom painted, etc. I just want to finally get that thing done, so we can move beyond that. Once my parent’s house is finished (hopefully in late march / early may sometime) we will start to work on our kitchen. Mostly cosmetic stuff, but will be a bigger project (at least on a conceptual level) than I want to do on my own. I can do a lot of things on the house, but plaster work just isn’t my specialty. I can do it, but it takes me twice as long as it takes my dad. So with his help, and possibly Drew’s help , if he has spare time, we’re anticipating getting that done in two weeks or so, depending on how much demolition we have to do. But we’re going to do new counters and such also, which I want to get done before Lisa moves in. And then, if everything goes as he plans, drew will be buying a house and closing on it before jenny and he get married, which means we’ll be working on his house before we know it too.

Alright, well I really need to get some more work done, but I had the unusual urge to update, so I figured I’d make the most of it.

Wow, I completely bypassed October when it comes to updating this thing… Which really comes to no surprise to anyone who knows what had been going on… I spent 9-10 hours a day at the hospital all month and then went to WASU for at least 3 hours every night after work to put together the Haunted House with the kids… Thankfully Trav came over every night and helped out too or else I fear it would never have been finished… when trey and I were putting it together, I think we had a little disconnect between what we were envisioning and what the kids actually put forth… the problem was, and it’s not their fault, it was designed for high schoolers to play the parts of these characters we came up with, not 6th –8th graders who actually did it… that was our fault… but in spite of that, they did a great job, especially because we had them do it from 4:00 – 8:00 w/o a break… they came out making $400 which means at least 200 people went through, so they did a great job with it… I think next year we need to re-design how it goes… but that’s next year.

Unfortunately, I told Lisa it would be fun if she came and we chaperoned the basement that night, since we wanted adults on all floors incase there were problems… well I ended up abandoning here for half the night because of all the problems that occurred… so it wasn’t all that fun… plus the basement smells!

Other than that, I’ve been seeing lisa less than I’d like, we’ve had to take a few weekends off here and there because we’re both busy with so much lately. But luckily I’ll be out there for 5 days over thanksgiving and then for 6 days for New Years… Oh, and I don’t think I’ve mentioned it on here yet, but she and I rented another cabin at Hocking Hills for 3 nights on the New Years weekend, so that will be a nice get away…

Hopefully now that my life is getting to a semi-normal schedule I’m planning on actually getting things organized with my house, but as usual, I’m sure something will pop up… bleck

Alright, I need to get some work done…

Until next time!

(Oh, and maybe I’m behind the times, but “the spill canvas” = great music)

Yeah I know it’s been a while since I actually updated… however not all that much is really going on… well I guess that really isn’t the case… maybe it’s that there has been TOO much going on…

We got my parent’s moved into their house, and me moved into mine… the house is really just plane huge compared to what I was living in before… it’s crazy… I’m hoping by the weekend of Emily’s wedding to actually have it all in order. But it’s getting there.

Lisa’s parents also moved… that was also quite an adventure.

I started my classes at Cornell, they aren’t too bad… though work was amazingly busy the past few weeks, so I need to catch up on school work.

I’m going down to PGH this weekend… I think I’m playing cards with Cody on Friday night and then we’re making a trip to the Southside possibly on Saturday… and I think drew and I are going to hang out on Saturday afternoon or Sunday, depending on when he can squeeze me in w/ all his school work he has to do and such…

Alright I need to get some shit done…

Have fun everyone

Wow, so it’s been a month since I’ve updated… but I guess I’ve been busy… My house closes in 2 weeks… my parents and I have been doing a good deal of work at their new house… more them than me, but I’ve been trying to get my house in order also.. plus I can’t take much time off work to help because of needing it all for this June…

But regardless, the house looks great. We are working right now on getting French drains put in around the perimeter of the house. Which my mom isn’t happy about, because now there is a big ditch around the house right before we move in, so she’s worried about her new carpeting…

We’re moving on Saturday which should be a blast… moving my parents up to their house and me to mine all in the same day. And unfortunately my aunts and uncles from my dad’s side have offered to help, which means they will just be getting in the way. Assholes!

Anyway, a few weeks ago, Lisa and I went on vacation because we needed a change of pace… it was great and well needed! We went to Hocking Hills (just south of Columbus) and rented a cabin for a few days. We went hiking around the trails and just generally relaxed. We want to go back in the Fall to see the leaves change and in the winter to see the frozen falls. I’ve got photos up here: http://www.photographicmemoriesonline.com/eotb/hills.html

Other than that, my life has been pretty quite over the last month. Lisa’s starting school again, so she’s been getting geared up for that and it looks like we won’t be able to see each other much over the next month or so, because of different things going on over the weekends here and there… but up until now we’ve been pretty lucky, I think we’ve only had to skip 3 weekends or so… I can’t imagine how Clay and Caroline put up with only being able to see each other once or twice a month… but I guess this whole thing “weekends only thing” will be over in just about 296 days now…I can’t wait!

Lisa has been putting a lot into the wedding over the past month too… I think the only thing left to do is decide on invitations, cake, and my ring. Just about everything else is done or close to it… can you tell we’re “planners”? haha, actually I think we’re just that excited!

Alright, well I’ve got a few more things to finish up here at work, then it’s off to dig more ditches and get ready for tomorrow’s move…

Talk to you all later!

So yeah, I just sold my house… Again… to no other than Steve’s mom… she seemed really excited about it… it should be a great house for her…

I close on it on September 1st… so long as the house appraises at 48,800… which I don’t think will be a problem… but as we all know, stranger things have happened…

My new address will be 224 Walnut Street…

And there is no new news with the crazies who first tried to purchase the house… I’ll keep everyone posted though…

My parents close on their house July 29th… but we are already in there making repairs and renovations… last night my dad ripped up all the carpeting and I came late, but was able to get rid of all the tack strips and such… only managing to walk away with a few puncture wounds…

It’s going to be a tight moving schedule with me being out of my house by the 31’s of august, and my parents carpet not being installed until the third week of August… which means they can’t/won’t move in before then….

I think what will happen is my dad and I will clear out the room in his basement on Walnut Street that he uses as a workshop, and set that up in their new garage for now, so he has access ot everything he needs to start working on the new house… and then I will slowly start moving all my non-essential stuff over into that room, like movies and stuff… that way I only have a few things to move over… then after closing, and my parents are out of the house, I will slowly start moving stuff upstairs and settling into the new house…

I just wish this would all hurry up… I hate the waiting game…

Lisa was here this past weekend… we didn’t do anything much to speak of… we were all going to go camping, but the weather was crappy, so we didn’t go… We saw the Fantastic 4… it was pretty good as far as superhero flicks go…

I’m going to PGH this weekend to help drew move across to North Oakland and forever say good bye to South Oakland… if anyone wants to do anything while I’m in town, let me know…

The following weekend I’ll be in Cleveland for a wedding… and then the following weekend again just because…

Then there will be a nice long stent of me having to be at home for the moving and such…

Only 327 days till the wedding…! And 44 days till I move…!

I got my copy of the new Harry Potter book this weekend also… I didn’t start it till I went to bed last night as Lisa was here… but I was able to get through the first hundred pages or so before I finally went to bed… pretty good… but I wish I would have read the last book again before I started this one, as I’ve forgotten things… though since my copes were all ruined, I didn’t purchase a new set…

Alright I think that’s enough for now…

Wow, so a lot has happened since I’ve last posted…
For Starters, I’m in the middle of a lawsuit against the people who bought my house…
But let me back up some…

So I called the people on the Monday after they Signed the Sales Agreement to find out who they are going to be using for their lawyer… and he told me that they needed some time to think about it now, because they were offered a job out of town… so I called my lawyer to find out what my next steps were, like if they were entitled to their deposit back, and how we had to handle canceling the sales agreement (since nothing in real estate is oral), and also what my options were if this turned ugly…

So that Wednesday, I called them to figure out what they had decided…

She started off by repeatedly asking me if I got their letter…

“no, I didn’t get any letter…”

“are you sure, did you check your mail?”

“Yes, I checked the mail, since I get my letters through the mail…”

“Well did you check thoroughly?”

“Yes maim, I have not received any mail of any sort since last Monday”

“well anyway, I wanted to let you know that we are going to be rescinding our offer”… so I just replied “well I’m sorry to hear that, but so you know, you didn’t sign an Offer, you signed a Sales Agreement, which has serious legal repercussions of breaking.”

She responded harshly “like what”

“well, I can recoup the difference of what you signed to pay and what I actually sell it for to someone else now, I can recoup any property taxes that accrue from now until I sell the house, I can recoup any utilities that I accrue from now until I sell, as well as real-estate commission if I have to list my house with an agent.”

“Let’s get one thing straight here son, you’re not a lawyer. None of what you just described is legal”

“No maim, lets get one thing straight, this is why I pay lawyers, to protect me and my assets, I never said that I would exercise these options, but I just wanted to let you know that they are available to me.”

“well fine, call me if things escalate”

and that was the end of the conversation… She never once apologized for the inconvenience, since I took the house off the market for that whole period of time and every thing else, but none the less, I was mad, but not really going to sue them over it…

Especially because I already received their $500 deposit and cashed it, the day they gave it to me. And since they out and out broke the Sales agreement, they weren’t entitled to it, nor did she ask to have it back.

Well that Friday, I went to meet my dinner with my parents, and while I was waiting in the parking lot for the, I was going through my mail… and low-and-behold there was “their letter”… now technically it wasn’t from them, but I got the message loud and clear. It was a letter from the bank, w/ a copy of their check, stamped “stop payment” with Monday’s date on it.

Meaning that when I called them and they said they needed more time to think about it, they had already put a stop payment on the check… so when my parents got there, I got out of the car and yelled over to them… “those assholes, they stopped payment on the deposit check, I’m suing them and suing them NOW…” and as I’m walking over to their car, who’s standing outside his parked car, but that guy… parked right next to my parents..

I just smiled at him and continued to bitch about them…

So Yeah, that’s where things are now… Not sure when the court date is going to be, but I’m sure the next time I post, I’ll have more information.

But yeah, that’s about it

So yeah… almost before I even had the chance to post that I put my house on the market, it’s sold… With out even having to advertise the property, 2 days' after I put the sign out front, it's sold! yeah… randomly these people driving by saw the sign and decided they wanted it… so the house that I paid 19,900 for about 20 months ago just sold for $50,600 and I couldn’t be happier! The only catch is they want a quick closing date… July 1st!!! which sucks for me because:

· This weekend I’m not in town because of going to PGH to hang out and then the Clarks show…
· Next weekend I’m in Cleveland to meet with the photographer with Lisa
· The following weekend Lisa and I have tickets to see HairSpray with her sister and brother-in-law

So I actually won’t even be in town any weekend from now till the end of the month…! Ahh! So I’m going to be moving during the week, the worst part is going to be trying to get everything out of the shed and the garage…

No check that… the worst part is going to be living with my parents for the 2 months before their house closes! But I’ll live, it will give me an opportunity to put some extra money in the bank… Even after I pay them money for rent while I’m living there, I’ll be able to put away about $1,000 a month while they’re living there…

So yeah, there’s my news for the week… OH, and it is 1 Leap Year’s worth of days until lisa and I get married! How about that!

Alright, I need to get some stuff done since I’m taking off early today…

Talk to you all later…

Ugh… I’m exhausted and frustrated with work right now, so I figured I’d take a quick break and update…

I shot Courtney’s wedding this weekend, and Saturday night I left there to come back so I woke up here in Warren Sunday morning…

My parents worked their ass off for me this weekend finishing up the last details on my house… Sunday I staked the “For Sale” sign out front… so if anyone knows someone who knows a guy who’s brother-in-law is looking for a house, let me know… haha…

This week is going to be short, as on Thursday Pach and I are meeting Lisa in Erie around 4 and are going to PGH for the weekend… Thursday I don’t know that we’re doing much of anything… possibly just walking around campus… Friday I think we’re going to the science center during the day and probably century III during the evening… and Saturday we’re going to Episode III a lowes… then it’s off to Cleveland to see the Clarks…

Alright that’s it, I’m out of here… I’ll post something more later…

So yeah, sorry it’s been so long since I’ve last updated… I’ve just been swamped with things here at work and my home life has been equally as hectic…

My house is done… it looks GREAT… just need to do some finishing touches and such, and then the big Clean and Clear out so that there isn’t so much clutter and what not around. Not that my house is disgusting… I just have a lot of stuff for this house… it already looks better just in getting the second couch out of the living room.

Thanks to much help from my family and lisa, in one weekend we were able to paint the peaks of the house, paint the living room ceiling and walls, fix the stairway ceiling, paint the ceiling and walls of the hallway, stain the deck, paint all the woodwork in the house and shampoo the carpets…

I’m sure I’m forgetting some of the other stuff we accomplished, but those are the ones that are sticking out in my mind…

Then last weekend I went to Lisa’s to help her and her parents clear a bunch of stuff out of their house… they’re trying to sell their house also… so that was fun too…

But yeah, it seems when we lisa and I plan out our weekends, the weeks seem to fly by… She’s coming in tomorrow night for a long weekend, then she’ll be back again for another long weekend for memorial day, then we’re taking the weekend of June 4th off. I think she's doing wedding stuff and I'm going to go to Courtney's wedding and shoot her photos for her...

then June 8th I’m going to meet her in Erie and I’m bringin pach, and we’re going to head down to PGH for Thursday and Friday night and then satruday we’re going to head up to Cleveland to see the Clarks… I haven’t seen them in a while so that will be great fun… and then that Sunday my cousin in Erie graduates from high school so lisa will get to meet that whole side of the family then…

Then the 17th weekend, I’ll be out there for a random weekend, I think we’re going to just do a lot of wedding stuff that weekend. Then the weekend of the 24th I’m going back out there to go see Hairspray. And then I think she’s coming out here that next weekend for the Fourth of July Activities. And then I’m going town to Seven Springs the following weekend for her family reunion.

Wow, by the time I turn around it’ll already be the middle of july. I love my life!

But yeah, that’s about all I’ve got… I need to get some other stuff done… but just so I know, is anyone even going to be in PGH June 8th, 9th, or 10th? Or is everyone down at the beach?

So I may have picked up a free-lance computer job here this week… I put a demo together and sent it off yesterday morning… This guy who sits on my dad’s board has this company that’s expanding and they wanted one of those little video CD’s put together … he has all the footage, just needs edited and then formatted… so I went beyond that and made a whole presentation out of it… hopefully they liked it… hoping to make a quick $500 out of it when it’s all said and done.

So I was on my way to deliver that up to my dad before work yesterday and this crap happened… I was backing out of my driveway, and when I put my car in drive it made all these funny grinding noises and the gear box started shaking… this after I put $1300 into it last week for preventive maintenance stuff… needless to say I was pissed… so I had it towed up to the dealership and drew came over and gave me a ride to work…

So they ended up finding the problem, something that was pre-existing to last week’s ordeal, they just didn’t see it. So because of that they said they’d fix the problem w/ no charge for the labor and 10% under whatever they bought the part for… so that made me happy… so the potentially $750 problem turned out to cost me $135…

It’s great even though today is Thursday its Friday for me…! Lisa comes in today for a long weekend of sorts… so I’m taking tomorrow off… with the rash of bad weather last weekend, nothing much got done to the house… but I think having all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday under the cover of good weather, we should have the house ready to put on the market by the middle of next week

But yeah, I heard a rumor via Gregory that there is the possibility of camping this weekend…. I don’t know if I’d be up for camping the whole night, but I know lisa and I, and almost positively drew would be up for coming out for a fire night… someone let me or drew know if ya’ll go out… (and I’ll even let you punch me in the face for using the word ya’ll)

Alright, I need to some actual work done… later

Well, again it’s been a while since my last update…

I’ve been busy trying to get my house ready to sell… we’ve been crossing things off the “to do list” every day but for some reason it keeps looking worse… I think that’s because we’re working with stuff every day, so it looks very disorganized with all the tools around and such, and then I’m trying to organize and pack up unnecessary things too so it’s just a mess in general.

Hopefully this whole ordeal will be signed and over with soon… I hate living in the midst of indecision.

But nonetheless, Lisa will be coming in tonight… and I can’t wait. With the exception of the big “parents meeting each other” dinner, we haven’t seen each other in 3 weeks now… so this is far beyond due.

In other news, family guy is on in just 3 days and I can’t wait! AND it’s already 10:00 so only 6 more hours of work to go!

Alright, boring entry, I know… but I don’t care, I’m bored so it’s fitting…

Yeah, so here’s a quick little update for you all

So since the “formal” engagement announcement I really haven’t posted, so I figure I should say something…

As Kevin put it one night on the phone “You’re such a mogul”… what is that in reference to you may ask? Well I’m selling my house and buying another… like everything else in my life so far, it’s not as though I’m handed something, but I’ve always been able to keep my self positioned (be it socially, financially, or anything else really) so that when an opportunity comes along, I am able to take it with out hesitating…

Point in case: My job here at the hospital… yes it was a case of right place at the right time, but I was also in a position to take the job on the spot with out having to sit on my ass and think about it forever and a day. When my car came along, I had everything all budgeted out to see what I could afford at the time and had looked at enough cars to know exactly what I wanted and what I could sacrifice, to the point where I could test drive it via phone and be in a position to buy it that day.

This house is no different. My parents finally found the house they wanted to buy (after 8 plus years of looking), and are putting their house on the market. And my dad offered to sell it to me before he put it on the market. Financially, this helps us both, with how we are going to work out the loan contract and land deals. And it really works out well for Lisa and I right now, because next june, we can just start fresh when she moves here, instead of having to live in my house for a few years and then move then. Though Lisa has to actually like the house first… When I told her about it, she thought it was a great deal, but in her words… “I like your parents house, but I’ve never looked at it as though I was going to live there, so I’d have to look at it in that light first…” but I’m pretty sure it’s going to all work out…

The only thing now is speeding up the renovations to my house so I can get that on the market… I’ve got a nice long list of things that I’d like to get done to the house, so I can get the money out of it… cosmetic things like finishing details on the front porch that we built last summer, staining the back deck, painting the white trim on the roofline and windows, and small things inside… The original plan was to get it up for sale as soon as late June… but now there may be a wrench in that plan…

My neighbor usually goes to the south for the winter… and then returns in the summer.. and this past winter, her son has been doing a lot of renovations to the house… which was fine, I didn’t think much of it. But then he started pouring new concrete for the driveway entry, and for his front pathway, and that got me thinking about what he’s doing… Mostly because my neighbor isn’t back in town yet… so either A) she’s not coming back and he’s fixing the house up so he can sell it … or B) she’s not coming back until he’s done fixing the house (there’s still no front door… haha)

I’m hoping it’s the later, only because two very similar houses next to each other will be bad for selling either of them, so just incase I’m going ot get mine to market first by putting it on sale by the beginning of may.

I’ll probably be putting it up for 42,500 which is about 22,500 more than I originally paid for it… but I also need to recoup costs of the new roof and all the rest of the work I put into it… but when it comes down to it, if I get that much for it, (which I should) I’ll end up with a 15,000 “profit” off the deal… not too shabby if you ask me…

Anyway… off the house topic…

Last weekend lisa and I didn’t get to see each other because she had stuff going on for school on Saturday, so we took only our third weekend off since we met… but I did at least get to see her… we had the big “parental meeting” out in Chardon. My parents and I drove out last Saturday and we took them to the reception place… they said it was a great spot, so we were happy they approved. Then we met up with her parents for dinner and then went back to their house for coffee and such… it went pretty well, and lisa said her parents said the same thing… so that’s over and done with now… haha

And since lisa and I took the weekend off, I met up with Trav and Clay for a guys night out which hasn’t happened for quite a while now… it was a good time. We went bowling and to the bars. And somewhere along the line, they decided not to have just one bachelor party, but an entire year of such… we wrote a to-do list of things for this summer… let the madness ensue…

So yeah, that’s the newest big news on my end…
(Timi, I hope this was more interesting than the comments going back and forth on phil’s journal)

Yes, well… Hello Hello…

Alright,  again, it’s been a while since my last post, but I am exhausted, so I will not dwell on that…

This past week was a blur… I took Thursday and Friday off and Lisa came out on Wednesday night… we hung out and generally just had a laid back time…

I know most of you have known for a while that Lisa and I put a down payment on a date next June for our wedding, yet we weren’t formally engaged yet…  all because we were waiting for her to get her contract renewed for next year to teach again…  well this week I know I couldn’t wait anymore, so I finally “formally” proposed, on april fools day nonetheless, during the beginning of the movie Closer, while the Damien Rice song we love “Blowers Daughter” was playing…

It was perfectly “US”, so it all worked out…  though my sister thought it would have been great, had Lisa said “I’m sorry, I can’t” followed by “April Fools”… haha  so now we just have to survive these next 433 days and we’ll be set…

Alright, I’ve got a long week ahead of me, so I must get on my way…

Go Team, Hi-five, Pope died

It’s amazing how things happen for a reason…

So I just got done having a bitch session with skip. I was complaining about EmergyCare’s days’ in AR and how irresponsible that was of them, and about the new situation with Corry and a ton of other things that have been on my list to talk to him about for a while now… and as I was leaving, he just looked at me and goes “so how do your friends and family think about this?” and I was like “think about what? The corry/kane situation?” and he smiled and goes “no, you and just what your day’s consist of … you’re 24 and you have the mind of a seasoned hospital administrator, yet somehow you keep us all on our toes and question why we do everything the wrong ways…”

Haha, I took the complement and just said that no one I talk to outside work really would understand what my days are like, so I don’t really talk about it much outside…

But as I’m sitting here thinking about it… can anyone imagine where my life would have been right now had things not happened they way they did? Seriously, think about it…

2 years ago about this time, I was working my ass off trying to find a job in Pittsburgh, and was thinking about keeping a crappy job I hated just to stay… and if any of you can remember what I was like my last year in Pittsburgh, I was one miserable son of a bitch and just pissed off…

and then for some unknown reason, I came home for spring break… and just because I came home, I got my job at the hospital, which sent me on this path to setting up my own company, buying a house, and most importantly meeting and falling in love with Lisa.

Can anyone imagine what shit hole my life would be if I had stayed in Pittsburgh?

Well, I’ve got a ton of stuff to do before I head out of town tonight… Piece everyone!

Mood: for the weekend
Music:Damien Rice

Holy hell… I haven’t updated in a LOOONG Time… alright a lot has gone on… for one, we didn’t get down to PGH… Tuesday after my birthday I woke up and was coughing up a lung, so I went and gave my speech to the Nursing students at JCC and then came home and passed out… wed and Thursday I was physically laid out the entire time… getting out of bed was a huge physical endeavor… and breathing became a conscious choice because it burned my lungs and throat to do so.

Friday I woke up and felt a lot better, but didn’t want to spend the entire weekend in the car and possibly infect everyone else… so Lisa just came over for the weekend and we played house… we literally just hung out around the house, got groceries, it was a great time… and made me really look forward to the rest of my life with her…

Last week was hectic here at work, meetings just about every day taking up 90% of my hours… so by the time the weekend got here, I was exhausted… Lisa came out again, because I had a presentation to set up for John Friday night for Dr. Price’s retirement party… it was a good time. John and his wife took lisa and I to dinner before hand. It was great to see lisa hold her own the whole evening. Especially since that is the first of countless events like that which I have to attend on an regular basis. Afterwards we went out to the bars with Hayes, Bender, and Trey… but after getting two beers in me, I was absolutely warn out and ready to pass out at the bar… so I figured it was better just to cut out a little early from the festivities…

The rest of the weekend, we just kinda putzed around… Sunday we went to breakfast with my parents… but other than that it was another great weekend of nothingness and relaxation!

This week I haven’t had a moment to spend getting things crossed of my task list, just everything and anyone has come up and filled my time… working late and coming in early has been the routine for the week, just to keep my head above water, since I won’t be in at all on Friday…

Oh.. haha.. this was something funny that did happen though… I was talkin’ to John about random things that have been going on, and he goes to me “hey, do you realize how far your name has gotten out there with what you have been doing here and through out the community?” and since I have had the impression of myself lately that I have been slacking off with a lot of my outside commitments, I really had no clue… Apparently a random guy came up to John last week (I forget his name, but it’s no one I’ve ever been introduced to) and told him that he wanted John to allow me to re-arange my hospital schedule so that I can run for City Council… Granted, now isn’t the best timing for that with everything else I’m trying to get done… but still it was odd to hear that my name is being thrown around like that…

Tomorrow I have my EmergyCare board meeting in Erie. And then I’m going to get Lisa’s mom a birthday present and then head over to good ole’ Clevo’… Friday night her and her family and I are going out to dinner at this place we’re thinking of having our Reception at next year… and then we may be heading out to Canton to meet up with her friends… Saturday we’re spending the day looking at these two places for our reception and then we’re all going out to dinner w/ her whole family for her mom’s birthday. Sunday is church and putzin’ around…

Andrew will be around this week because he’s on break, so I’m sure I’ll be hangin’ out with him a great deal this week…

But that’s about all I got… and it’s time for another meeting… so I’ll talk to you all alter…

Have been busy as hell lately... but 9/10th of it has delt with Lisa... and since I'm sure you're all sick of hearing about her via LJ, I'll just not post it... haha

This week should go quickly... TOnight I'm having my birthday dinner at my parents house, then I've got Bowling tonight... tomorrow I have a Healthy Kids meeting... Wednesday I'll finish up working on the printer at dr malj's office... thursday is Men's Night... and then Lisa will be here at 2:30 on friday, and we're going to pick up Pach at Clarion, and then head to PGH for the weekend... so all you pgh kids, listen up...

I think we're going to go to Fuel for dinner on friday and then go see hitch at lowes...

Saturday I'm going to go up to campus and walk around since lisa has never been to pitt before, and then possibly to to Sheswan for lunch... I know we're going to go to the science center and sportsworks for a few hours in the afternoon, but we have to meet my parents at drew's house at 3:00... then we're going to an early dinner with them and then going to Cal UoP for the Clarion / California basketball game... then I don't know what we're doing saturday night.... I know Junker and Krystal will be in town, well junk lives there, but he'll be around, and krystal has a wedding... so maybe atleast Lisa and I will go out and meet up with them for a drink or something...

But if any of you wanna meet up and hang out, just give me a call... you know the number

but anyway, I'll post this much out there for the poker players of the group... Saturday my parents, lisa and I all went out to the casino on saturday for a few hours... so I went to play some cards... there was no room at the limit tables, but I saw they had a no limit table with a $100 buy in max... so I went over and played at that table... I won a few hands here and there and was up to 160ish... then on my deal, I was handed AA... so I raised a modest $20 off my blind since the table was pretty cheap. 3 guys called me. so then the flop Came "Ace King Queen", Rainbow so there was no flush on the board... first two guys checked, so I bet another $30, w/ my trip Aces... both guys called... then another "Queen" came... and the first two guys checked, so I bet $100, with my Boat, aces full of queens... The First guy folded, second guy called...

then it came... one of the cards I was hoping would drop... a final queen... so the board read "Ace, King Queen, Queen, Queen" I had the highest boat that was board possible... so I wasn't worried with that, had every concievable hand covered, he went all in... I called with a grin, until he turned over his cards... Queen Deuce, unsuited... what kind of bull shit is that? who keeps a low pair on the board after a total $50 raise??? I was stunned, I just sat there for a second, mucked my cards, picked up my remaining chips and walked away... my stomach was turning for atleast an hour after that...

alright, that's it... I'll post something later on.. piece kiddo's...
